UNESCO World Heritage Site: Peja Patriarchate: Peja Patriarchate consists of a group of four churches from XIII and XIV cent., on the outskirts of western city of Peja at the entrance to the Rugova gorge. Three of the churches, of the Holy Apostles, St Demetrius and the Holy Virgin, were built against each other and are interconnected with a shared narthex, giving the impression from above of one building with three domes, a unique architectural symbiosis.
