Veron Tara is an architect and an expert in Cultural Heritage, holding a degree from the University for Business and Technology in Pristina as BSc. Architect and as MSc. Building Restorer/conservator. His experience in the heritage field began in 2017, participating in the Management Plan for the Historic Center of Prizren as a field researcher. He has been involved with numerous organizations, including Cultural Heritage without Borders Kosova (CHwB Kosova), focusing on the Restoration/Conservation of monuments in Kosovo, and as a professional staff at the Regional Center for Cultural Heritage – Prizren in the Restoration/Conservation area. He has worked in the private restoration office in Prizren and has been appointed as the Head of the Cultural Heritage Council for the Historic Center of Prizren in 2023. He is the editor of the Digital Platform for the Historic Center of Prizren and a researcher in the Development of the Conservation Plan for the Historic Center of Janjeva. Certified by UNDP as a guide and certified in dark tourism by the European Association of Tourist Guides – FEG, he is also actively engaged in citizen initiatives and part of many civil society networks aimed at raising civic awareness and from 2023 as a co-founder and executive director of NGO – Education for Development and Cultural Outreach – EDUCO in Prizren. Veron, as a local guide offers his guiding services in English and Albanian in Southern and Central region of Kosovo.
