GUIDEKS representatives Muamer Hasani, Lavdi Zymberi and Enes Toska held a meeting with the new director of tourism in the Municipality of Prishtina Mrs.Rrezarta Aliu, where a number of issues of importance for the development of the tourism sector in the capital were discussed.
During the meeting, topics that directly affect the profession of tourist guide and the experience of visitors in the city were addressed, starting from the lack of a functional tourist office, the operation of illegal guides, the updating of the local tourism strategy, the need for better signage and interpretation of cultural heritage in Prishtina, as well as many other issues of interest for the development of sustainable tourism.
Director Aliu expressed her willingness and commitment to institutional cooperation, organizing more frequent meetings, and gradually addressing the topics raised, with the aim of Prishtina offering a more qualitative and professional experience for local and international visitors.
