The Hydroelectric Power Plant Museum in Prizren is now functional. An important industrial heritage object that once marked the beginnings of electrification in the city, now opens its doors to the public.
Through public-civil partnership, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Kosovo has created a model for the functionalization of monuments, putting them at the service of the public. Another proof that heritage, when put into operation, creates value for the community.
Through cultural programs and professional activities, this space is taking on a new role in the life of the city. The museum will serve as a point for the development of tourism, in cooperation with GUIDEKS, which already carries out activities in this asset including here the training for tourist guides which will increase the professional standard in this sector.
